Osloleire (Osloclay) is a wish to turn a local waste product into everyday household objects. 

Oslo is built on clay and every year large quantities of it is sent to landfill when it’s excavated as a part of new construction projects. We up-cycle this beautiful raw material, process it and fire it to the brink of collapse to reach a rich dark colour while making the material impermeable. 

We are currently fine tuning this process and hope to be able to present a range of tableware shortly.
